Akram Tariq Khan: Cofounder
Akram Tariq Khan is the cofounder of YourLibaas. He founded YourLibaas in 2014 while pursuing a computer engineering degree from ZHCET, Aligarh Muslim University. Akram was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and spent his early years in the Middle East before moving to India. He has extensively worked on the technology and marketing aspects of YourLibaas.
He is an MBA graduate from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
Akram started experimenting with startups during school and college and some the attempts included:
- HostelNeeds, primarily a dorm supplies eCommerce portal launched in 2014. It also added event management for college students and food delivery services later.
- Zamber.in - A social networking portal launched in 2013 wherein users would get rewarded for being active. These points could later be redeemed against mobile recharges or goodies.
He is a contributor to Entrepreneur.com, Business2Community, Zapier, InsideIIM, TechStory, and ETBrandEquity among others. He recently developed ‘Bhag Corona’, a COVID-19 awareness online game that received millions of hits. ShareChat contacted Khan to include it within their portal later on. He is also an active cryptocurrency investor.
